We learned to bite our tongues and swallow our pride.

‫تعلمنا كبح ألسنتنا والتضحية بكبريائنا.‬

And with tongues almost the length of their bodies, they lap the sugary nectar deep within.

‫وبألسنة طولها يماثل طول جسدها،‬ ‫تلعق الرحيق السكري داخلها.‬

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover!

وهذه الآيات تتبع المؤمنين. يخرجون الشياطين باسمي ويتكلمون بألسنة جديدة. يحملون حيّات وإن شربوا شيئا مميتا لا يضرهم ويضعون أيديهم على المرضى فيبرأون.
